The Giving Circle

  • Our Giving Circle calendar is now available HERE

The Giving Circle will meet one Sunday a month to participate in various community service efforts. Families and their children of all ages, will come together to plant for Israel, Pack care packages for the sick, engage with seniors and to take part in many other wonderful volunteer efforts throughout the year. This is your opportunity to teach your children that helping others is a Mitzvah and a priority in their lives.

At the following Giving Circle we will be packing Shabbat care packages for American Jewish Troops serving in the US Army with The Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute (MSAWI).

Children will also be able to gain an inside look of life in the US Army

On April 6, 2008, Major Stuart Adam Wolfer was killed while serving in Baghdad, Iraq. His family established the Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute (MSAWI) in order to carry on his legacy.  As his brother-in-law said, "We are only failing him if we let his message, his love for all people and commitment to change for peace, be silenced with the end of his life."

MSAWI works with school groups and community organizations to educate them about the role of the US Military and the sacrifices our Military makes on our behalf each and every day.

Although there is no charge to join this event we encourage you to make a tax deductible donation for this wonderful organization.

This event is open to the entire community.
