What parents are saying about New York Hebrew...

NY Hebrew continues to be an inspiring and exciting place for our daughter, to learn about our cultural and religious traditions. Even after a long day of school, Sara enthusiastically runs to Hebrew school and remains focused and engaged for 2 hours. I’m continually impressed by her imaginative teachers and their commitment to all of the students. It’s clear that the teachers enjoy teaching and are well supported by Rabbi Mendy and Gillie.

I’m also so impressed by the many events we have attended this year. From warm Shabbat dinners to spirited holiday celebrations, we have enjoyed every get together this year.

Jenny Flax, Avenues World School

As parents of Preschool of the Arts graduates, my husband and I felt passionately about continuing our children’s Jewish education. New York Hebrew has provided them with knowledge and a strong sense of pride. Rabbi Mendy and Gillie are so dedicated, engaging and full of life. They create an atmosphere of smiles, laughter and Jewish learning for the children and a second family for the parents. We are incredibly happy and proud to be part of the New York Hebrew community and look forward to many more successful years!

New York Hebrew School is a gem of light in a bustling city. The teachers are unique, sharing with students their boundless energy overflowing with passion and love. Students receive a thorough education connecting them to the rich history, culture and spirituality in their Jewish heritage. All are warmly welcomed into the community where a strong bond exists between the families and teachers. New York Hebrew is a very special place committed to raising our children to become sharing, conscious, inspiring young Jewish adults.
